Peter Day is a General Partner at super{set}. A passionate technologist, coder, and machine learning PhD, his career spans AI research, financial markets, Silicon Valley technology leadership, and building technology companies.
Professional journey
Peter’s path has always centered on technology — not just building it, but shaping how teams and products evolve over time. Before joining super{set}, he spent more than eight years at Quantcast, where he held senior leadership roles including Chief Product and Technology Officer (CPTO), Chief Technology Officer, VP Engineering, and Director of Engineering. There, he helped guide product and engineering teams responsible for large-scale audience measurement and real-time advertising systems.
Earlier in his career, Peter worked in highly analytical and technical environments, including serving as Executive Director at UBS Investment Bank and holding leadership roles at d-fine. These experiences shaped a practical, systems-oriented approach to problem solving — one that blends rigorous thinking with hands-on execution.
At super{set}, Peter works with founders from the earliest stages, helping shape technical direction, build strong engineering foundations, and turn ambitious ideas into scalable products.
